Apartments require a security deposit of AED 2,000 (USD 545), while villas require a deposit of AED 4,000 (USD 1,090). If leaving the property, you must turn off the electricity and water. 

You must pay for the following actions:

In Dubai, How Do You Pay Your Utility Bills?

Abu Dhabi Public Utilities: The Abu Dhabi Distribution Company provides water and electricity to Abu Dhabi residents (ADDC). The tenant/owner must apply for the service to gain access to them. After registering the contract in the Tawtheeq system, tenants can do so. To gain access following documents are required:

Tenancy agreement

* Passport

* Emirates ID

* Account closure letter from the previous tenant

* To view and pay bills, you must create an account on the Abu Dhabi Distribution Company website using your Emirates ID and a code sent to your mobile phone.
